We are excited to announce that we will be hosting summer band camps for all incoming 5th-8th grade band students. The camps will be divided into two tracks, advanced and beginner. We look forward to some great music making to kick off the 2024-2025 school year!
ZWEST Summer Band Clinic-Advanced Track Grades 6-8
July 22-26, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Join us for a week-long, half-day immersive camp experience for ZWMS band students. Students will spend a fun and inspiring week making music, culminating in a concert performance in West Hall on the last day of camp. Students will grow as musicians and make new friends in this course designed for ZWMS band students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade.

ZWEST Summer Band Clinic-Beginner Track-Grade 5 (new to ZWMS)
July 22-26, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
The week-long, half-day immersive camp experience for first year ZWMS band students is a great way to start playing a band instrument. Get a head start on playing your new instrument, discovering a new school, and making new friends! Students will work in small groups and full band classes to learn how to assemble and care for their instrument, produce a beautiful sound, play the first few notes, and ensure a successful start to the school year. Students will spend a fun and inspiring week making music, culminating in a concert performance in West Hall on the last day of camp. This course is designed for ZWMS band students entering 5th grade.
