Uniforms and Books
Band Uniform
All band students wear the following for their uniform:
Plain Black Polo Shirt (one exception-you may wear the ZWMS Music polo as in past years which was the same as Orchestra and Choir!)
Black dress pants (NO LEGGINGS!)
Black dress shoes/socks
Book information
Not all students will need to order a book. Please check with your child to see if s/he needs a book for class. Some students have a book from a previous year which we will use again. Other students will have one included with the instrument rental from the music store.
5th and 6th Grade Book
To order books, you may order online (Amazon or other sites) or through a local music store, such as Paige's Music.
Please note: You MUST order the correct instrument! If in doubt, please contact a director to confirm.
Book Name: Accent on Achievement, Book 1
You can do an amazon search such as:
Accent on Achievement book 1 clarinet to find the correct book. (Change the "clarinet" to your child's instrument type).
For Euphonium, please order Baritone B.C.
For Percussion, please order Combined Percussion (it is slightly more expensive but combines 2 books in 1-mallets and battery percussion)
